Very sorry i haven't long been taken care of the poor johnny boy.
It was almost done but as i restricted johnny or jenny only to change
the string parts of tombpc.dat, coding got unnecessarily complex and
i never finished it for the last three month.
Maybe i'll rewrite a more simple tool.
; sorry if "less than", "greater than" marks abundant in the lines below
; cause a mess.
; from the dos console:
G:\0> dir c:\bin\lara\johnny.com
Volume in drive C is SYSTEM#01
Volume Serial Number is 22B0-8F0B
Directory of C:\BIN\LARA

i couldn't dos-fdisk /dev/sdb. i used linux fdisk to make dos partitions.
i win-formatted /dev/sdb5, /dev/sdb6, /dev/sdb7, but linux can't mount the
dos drive g:, h:, i:, saying that they are not a vfat or msdos filesystem.
i found that win- and dos-format program neglected to initialize sector 0 of
the partitions. i "mkfs -t msdos"'d the three partitions and re-formatted on
win95. finally it was alright and i'll be able to bring back the TR
environment from linux dosemu disk to win95.
[not so offtopic]
rec_tr.com prototype runs ok on dosemu environment as dosemu has its own
dpmi host.
