Tomb Biker: how astute an observation.
thanks for speaking your mind, I feel about the same...
TB-"it might be the lack of confidence but I donīt like the CTimes. They are too close to Eidos/Core and thatīs why I would never discuss level editing there."
V-I can't say that I've had "bad experiences" with the ctimes...as
they have never bothered to answer my emails. So, being
sensible, I gave up. They're definately lap dogs &
not watch dogs, they'd love to make trouble; it'd
be a "real good news day". so let's get real, here...
I also struck-out w/ "Tombraiders.com" (in Jan/Feb-00') on my "TR editing news
& updates" ..she must have thought me a fool.
Somebody had just pulled a silly "bogus" TR level editor prank on
her. But, that is a most excelleant site & I think they
have integrity(how far.. who knows?)
again:
I NOW refuse to talk w/ them on any possible
"TR level editors" ...
my thoughts are to: Not advertise At All.
I maintain that there's "no such thang" as a TR level builder.
("as he adds lights and Dinosaurs to a TR3 level"...)heh heh..
the reason: because the people who are interested,
will find what they're looking for...
and also, you'll waste valuable time trying to "convert"
people about the level editor & end up
getting yer' arse in a sling.
insted, work on a level build; we all want to
see what bright minds can do w/ this.
just my opinions;
thanks for sharing yours w/ us.
