Here's a place to download a Win32 version:

http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.1/jre/download-jre-windows.html

And here's a place to look for other versions:

http://java.sun.com/cgi-bin/java-ports.cgi

I'd developed for Java 1.1, not 2.0, because that's where MacOS support for Java is at now, and because Java 1.1 is still the most common version out there.
