I'm working on it (when I have time !), so it should come in not a very long time, but I can't tell exactly when.
I also plan to import meshes from .3DS with lighting: you put lights in your 3D scene, and when imported into TRViewer, lighting (for internally lighted mesh) is calculated according to the lights.
