The minute I can edit Animated texture with my TextureAssign prog. this is what i would try:

Make an animation with a strip that traverses the whole texture bitmap and define areas 63 x 63 that are only displaced about 16 pixel one from another, instead of having discrete and non-overlaping areas.

Should give a slow motion like way of moving.

Also will try to animate one texture of Lara Herself. She could wear flashing LED on some techies clothes then...maybe a cellular that rings...
