Step-by-step guide:
1. Take an .exe file from original Tomb Raider III (TOMB3.EXE, downloadable as patch somewhere there: http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/pat.cgi?lang=eng&ref=&sys=pc&cap=t )
2. Crack it with common Tomb Raider III NO-CD Universal Crack (easily can be found everywhere)
3. Copy all TR3Gold CD files (except Setup, autorun files, Acrobat Reader, Flatland etc.) to the directory where cracked TOMB3.EXE located
4. Go to 'data' subdirectory
5. Rename 'trtla.dat' to 'TOMBPC.DAT'
That's it ;)
